Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage is designed specifically for the changes your body undergoes across each trimester easing the aches, reducing swelling, calming your nervous system, and giving you a dedicated hour that's entirely about you. We work with you from 12 weeks onwards, adapting our approach as your pregnancy progresses.
You'll be comfortably supported special belly pillows and bolsters throughout, with special attention to the areas pregnancy loves to target, lower back, hips, legs, and shoulders.
Benefits of Pregnancy Massage
• Reduces lower back, hip, and pelvic pain
• Eases swelling in the legs and feet
• Supports better sleep
• Reduces anxiety and supports emotional wellbeing
• Gives you a proper hour of rest - which is harder to come by than it sounds
Postpartum Massage
The postnatal period is one of the most physically demanding of a woman's life, and one of the most overlooked. Postpartum massage supports your body's recovery after birth — addressing the muscular strain of labour and delivery, the postural demands of feeding and carrying a newborn, and the very real need to restore your nervous system after what has likely been an intense and sleep-deprived stretch.
Postpartum massage is safe from a few weeks after vaginal birth (and a little longer after C-section, in coordination with your care team). We always check in with what you need on the day because no two postnatal bodies are the same.
What Postpartum Massage Can Help With
• Upper back, neck, and shoulder tension from feeding and holding
• Lower back and hip recovery
• Pelvic discomfort and tension
• Abdominal muscle recovery (including diastasis recti support)
• Fatigue and nervous system restoration
• Emotional support through the fourth trimester
C-Section Scar & Abdominal Release
A caesarean section is major abdominal surgery, and the scar tissue that forms during healing can have far-reaching effects not just locally, but throughout the body. Tightness, pulling, numbness, sensitivity, pelvic floor dysfunction, lower back pain, and even hip and bladder issues can all be connected to how the scar and surrounding fascia have healed.
C-section scar release is a gentle, targeted form of soft tissue work that addresses the layers of scar tissue that form after a caesarean. We work on the external scar once it's fully closed and healed (typically from around eight weeks post-surgery, with your doctor's clearance), and can also address the deeper fascial restrictions that develop over time.
This work is gentle, respectful, and guided entirely by what your body is ready for. Many women feel a meaningful difference both physically and emotionally after just a few sessions.
What C-Section Release Can Help With
• Scar tightness, puckering, or numbness
• Lower abdominal pulling or discomfort
• Lower back and hip pain connected to fascial restriction
• Pelvic floor tension or dysfunction
• Bladder urgency or frequency
• Reconnecting to an area of the body that can feel disconnected after surgery
